Proglot™

Sunflower Protein Concentrate 44% – GMP+ certified

This unique, highly digestible vegetable protein product now available from a GMP+ certified producer “LLC Potoky” in Ukraine. Excellent substitute for non-GMO soybean meal in poultry and pig diets. The arguments speaking for Proglot are:

  • Non-gmo
  • European vegetable protein
  • Lower carbon footprint, more sustainable protein vs. soya
  • Comparable protein content to soybean meal (min. 44% as is basis)
  • Significant cost advantage vs. non-gmo soybean meal

Rapeseed meal

High quality vegetable protein from quality producers

Rapeseed meal is often included in the diets of several species of livestock because of its high protein content (35-44% of DM). Rapeseed meal is also a good source of energy for ruminants. For solvent-extracted rapeseed meal, the net energy values for lactation cited in feed tables range from 6.8 to 7.45 MJ/kg. Rapeseed meal can also be used in pig and poultry diets as part of their protein requirement.

Sunflower meal

Min. 39% (DM) HiPro-meal from a GMP+ and ISO9001
certified producer

Sunflower meal is the by-product of the extraction of oil from sunflower seeds. In terms of production, it is the 4th most important oil meal globally after soybean meal, rapeseed meal and cotton meal. Solvent extraction results in a lower fat content, while dehulling decreases the fibre content, yielding a meal richer in protein. One particularly interesting trait of sunflower meal is the absence of intrinsic antinutritional factors. Sunflower meal is typically used in cattle, layer, swine and salmon feeds.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower Oil, crude – for use in animal feed

Sunflower oil is the non-volatile oil pressed from the seeds of the sunflower (Helianthus annuus). Sunflower oil is commonly used in food as a frying oil, and in cosmetic formulations as an emollient.
Sunflower oil is primarily composed of linoleic acid, a polyunsaturated fat, and oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat The expressed oil has a neutral taste profile. The oil contains a large amount of vitamin E. Crude sunflower oil, origin Ukraine, is an excellent choice for animal feed.

Rapeseed oil

High quality crude rapeseed oil meeting FEDIOL standards

Rapeseed oil is the only land-based plant based oil that contains n-3 fatty acids in greater amounts in the form of α-linolenic acid. The n-3 fatty acids of fish oil are limited marine resources, and the explosion in world population has intensified this problem; thus, the supply of vegetable n-3 fatty acids is an important contribution to a worldwide healthy nutrition.

Rapeseed oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (60% C18:1 oleic acid, 21% C18:2 linoleic acid and 10% C18:3 linolenic acid), which makes it valuable for human and animal diets.

Maize (Corn)

non-GMO – for use as grain and energy source in animal feeds

Maize is a major animal feed grain used as an energy source in nutrition. Other grains are compared to standardized feeding value of it. Maize is a high energy grain because it is high in starch and oil and low in fibre. It contains about 70% starch, 85-90% TDN, 4% oil and about 8-12% protein. Maize contains starch, which composed of about 25% amylase and 75% amylopectin. We offer only conventional maize (not genetically modified) of European origin.

OceanFeed™

by Ocean Harvest Technology, Ireland – Seaweed: A Functional Feed Ingredient

Seaweeds, also called macroalgae, are plant-like organisms which are classified into three general groups: Brown, Red and Green. Seaweeds, being such a large morphologically diverse group, contain many different complex carbohydrates and polysaccharides. Unlike many land-based plant fibres, seaweeds have negligible lignin, so they ferment more readily. This enhances the prebiotic effect in the gut. A prebiotic increases the population of good bacteria in the intestinal tract, and by reducing the pH, it can also reduce the population of bad bacteria [pathogens]. Good bacteria enable enhanced nutrient adsorption, and can reduce inflammation – improving the general condition of the animal and thus improving farm animal productivity. And it is an excellent ingredient in petfood and horse feeds!
